Gainesville, Florida, September 12, 2023- University of Florida CB Sharif Denson and Gainesville based Athlicity.co acted on their NIL deal to launch a new line of performance exercise joggers. The deal was hinted at this spring and came to fruition over the summer with the production of a special short video with Denson at his high school in Jacksonville, FL.

Denson joined the University of Florida this season as a top defensive back prospect out of Bartram Trail High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He has seen game action already this year in all three games.
The video showcases the new line of joggers from Athlicity, designed for athletes by athletes. They provide mild compression, comfort, breathability, and sweat/water resistance to become the athlete’s jogger of choice whether it’s time for weightlifting, running, drills, or recovery.
In the video, Denson shows off his skills and highlights how the joggers perform in various football drills. The shoot was recorded on the same field where Denson played high school football for the Bartram Trail Bears, which landed him a 4-star ranking and offers from 40 universities to play football at the collegiate level. “Getting to be a part of this project and going to Sharif’s high school was amazing,” said Austin Jones, Social Media and NIL Athlete Coordinator for Athlicity. “Being a part of his first NIL deal and seeing where it all started is special. He’ll continue to be successful on and off the field.”
Athlicity announced its first NIL partnership with University of Florida gymnast Bri Edwards in January, and the signing of five University of Florida Women's soccer players in March. The signing of Denson as an Athlicity athlete also occurred in March when Denson hinted at an upcoming product launch on Instagram.
Athlicity is an apparel company founded by four athletes who understand the challenges of balancing athletics, academic, and finances. Their goal of making high-end functional fitness clothing that is also affordable for students came to fruition with an official launch in 2022. The deal with Sharif Denson provides him with clothing and compensation, and kickstarts the Athlicity jogger launch this fall.
The deal was put together by Drew Campbell and Noah Bishop of Athlete Factory Agency, based out of Jacksonville. Founded in 2022, the agency offers various student athlete services including NIL branding, athlete representation, and consulting.
Athlicity features a line of functional fitness apparel for men and women including performance shirts and shorts, sports bras, women’s leggings, and artistic creations such as their tie-dye series of leggings. These NIL agreements demonstrate Athlicity’s continued commitment to student athletes.
